Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Wrenfields Outdoor LLC ("Wrenfields", "we") collects when you use wrenfieldsoutdoor.store, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Order information: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, the items you buy, and the delivery instructions you leave. Phone number is required for freight orders because the carrier uses it to schedule delivery.
Payment information: collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe, on its own secure checkout page. We receive the last four digits of the card, the card brand, and the billing address for fraud screening. We never see or store full card numbers.
Messages: what you send through the contact form, or by email, including photos you attach to a damage or warranty claim.

Information collected automatically

Server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages requested, the referring page, and timestamps. We keep these for 90 days for security and debugging.
Cart storage: the contents of your cart are stored in your own browser (local storage) so they survive a page reload. This data never leaves your device until you check out.

We do not collect precise geolocation, biometric data, or data from children (see below).

Cookies and similar technologies

We use browser local storage for your cart and a session identifier during checkout. This site also uses the Google Ads tag (Google's gtag.js), which sets advertising cookies so we can measure which of our Google ads lead to visits and purchases and, unless you opt out, so Google can show our ads to people who have visited this site. When you complete a purchase, the tag reports the order number and order total to Google; it does not receive your name, address, email or card details. You can control ad personalization at Google's My Ad Center, and Google explains its use of this data in How Google uses information from sites that use its services. Stripe sets cookies on its checkout page for fraud prevention; those are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details when the font files are requested; Google states that it does not use these requests for advertising. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: when your browser sends it, the Google Ads tag runs with ad personalization turned off, so your visit is counted for measurement only and is not used to target ads to you.

How we use information

To process, ship and deliver your order, and to give the freight carrier what it needs to schedule delivery.
To send transactional email: order confirmation, shipping notices, delivery scheduling, RMA and warranty correspondence.
To answer your questions and resolve problems.
To detect fraud and protect the site.
To comply with tax, accounting and legal obligations.

We do not send marketing email unless you have separately asked to receive it, and every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. We do not sell personal information for money. The Google Ads tag described above may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser, or by emailing us, and we will honor it.

Law enforcement or courts	Only when legally required, or to protect our rights or someone's safety

Each provider is contractually limited to using the information to provide its service to us. If Wrenfields is ever sold or merged, customer records would transfer to the new owner under this same policy.

How long we keep information

Order records, including name, address and what you bought, are kept for 7 years because tax law requires it and because warranty claims can arrive years after purchase. Contact form messages are kept for 2 years. Server logs are kept for 90 days. You can ask us to delete anything sooner, subject to the legal-retention exception.

Your choices and rights

Anyone, in any state, can ask us to:

Tell you what personal information we hold about you and where it came from.
Correct anything that is inaccurate.
Delete your information, except records we must keep for tax, warranty or legal reasons.
Stop marketing email at any time.

We will verify the request by matching it to the email address or order details on file, respond within 45 days, and never charge for it or treat you differently for making it.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act gives you the rights listed above plus the following specifics:

Categories collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (name, address, email, phone, IP address); commercial information (purchase history); internet activity (pages visited on our site); and, through Stripe, limited payment information. We collect these directly from you and from your device when you use the site.
Purposes: those listed under "How we use information." We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose beyond what is necessary to fulfill your order.
Sale and sharing: we have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months and do not sell or share it, including the information of consumers under 16. Because of that, there is no "Do Not Sell or Share" link to offer; the GPC signal is honored regardless.
Right to limit: we do not use sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics, so this right does not apply, but you may still contact us with any concern.
Authorized agents: you may designate an agent to make a request for you. We will ask the agent for written permission signed by you and may also ask you to confirm your identity directly.
Non-discrimination: we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and Oregon) have similar rights of access, correction, deletion and opt-out, and may use the same contact methods. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our response; we will answer the appeal within 45 days.

Children

Our site sells outdoor structures and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email contact@wrenfieldsoutdoor.store and we will delete it.

Security

All pages on this site are served over HTTPS. Payment details are entered only on Stripe's PCI-DSS compliant pages. Order records are stored on access-controlled systems and only staff who fulfill orders or answer customer questions can see them. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as state law requires.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top of the page. For material changes that affect how we use information already collected, we email customers who have ordered in the past 12 months.
