Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Wrenfields Outdoor LLC ("Wrenfields", "we") when you use wrenfieldsoutdoor.store or buy from us. They are linked from every page, from the cart, and from the checkout page, and you are asked to accept them before an order is placed.

1. Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Orders ship only to street addresses in the 48 contiguous United States. By placing an order you confirm that the shipping address is one at which you can lawfully receive and, if applicable, install the product.

2. Orders and acceptance

Adding an item to the cart or receiving an order confirmation email does not mean we have accepted the order. An order is accepted when we send the shipping notice. Before then we may cancel any order, in whole or in part, and refund it in full, for reasons including: the item is out of stock; the listed price or description contained an obvious error; we cannot verify the payment or shipping address; or the order appears to be for resale. We will tell you why.

3. Pricing and billing terms

  • Currency and tax: all prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude sales tax. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping address and is collected in the states where we are required to collect it. The total, including tax and shipping, is shown before you confirm payment.
  • Shipping: shipping is free on every order to the 48 contiguous states, as set out in the Shipping & Delivery policy. There are no other fees.
  • Payment: we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Payment is processed by Stripe, and your card is charged when the order is placed. If a charge is declined, the order is not placed.
  • Price changes: prices can change without notice, but the price you pay is the price shown when you complete checkout. We do not adjust for later price changes in either direction.
  • Errors: if an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price (for example, a $1,249 shed listed at $12.49), we may cancel the order and refund you in full, and will contact you first if we can offer the item at the correct price.
  • Refunds: are issued to the original payment method as described in Returns & Refunds.

4. Shipping, delivery and risk of loss

Shipping methods, timeframes, curbside freight delivery, and our obligations under the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule are set out in the Shipping & Delivery policy, which is part of these terms. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the shipment to your address. For freight, that is when the delivery receipt is signed, which is why we ask you to inspect before signing. We remain responsible for damage that is noted on the delivery receipt or reported within the windows in the shipping policy.

5. Returns and warranty

Returns are governed by the Returns & Refunds policy and product defects by the Warranty. Both are part of these terms. Except as stated in the warranty, products are provided without any other express warranty, and implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of the written warranty. Some states do not allow limits on implied warranties, so this limit may not apply to you.

6. Product information

We work hard to make dimensions, capacities, weights and ratings accurate, and every product page lists them explicitly. Manufacturing tolerances mean exterior dimensions may vary by up to 1/2 in. from the figures shown; interior dimensions and door openings are minimums. Capacities are calculated from interior dimensions. Colors on screen vary by device. Snow-load and wind ratings apply only to a product assembled per the instructions on a level base and anchored as directed. If a product page contains an error we will correct it when we find it, and you may return a product that materially differs from its description at no cost under the "not what you ordered" terms of the returns policy.

7. Permits, codes and site conditions

You are responsible for determining whether a building permit, HOA approval, setback, easement or other rule applies to installing a product at your address, and for obtaining any approvals. Our permit guide is general information, not legal advice. We do not refund the return-freight deduction on a shed returned because a permit was denied, so please check before you order. You are also responsible for preparing a level base and anchoring the product; failure to do so voids the warranty for related damage.

8. Assembly and use

Products are sold as kits for assembly by the buyer following the included instructions. Use products only for residential storage. Do not store gasoline, propane or other fuels in a closed shed with any ignition source; follow the fuel manufacturer's storage guidance. Do not exceed stated shelf, lid-seat or roof load ratings. Keep children from climbing on lids and roofs.

9. Your account information

We do not require an account to order. You agree that the contact and shipping information you give us is accurate and that you will keep the phone number on a freight order reachable during business hours until delivery. Orders that cannot be delivered because of inaccurate information are handled under the undeliverable-order terms of the shipping policy.

10. Intellectual property

The text, product illustrations, dimension diagrams, logos and design of this site belong to Wrenfields. You may print or save pages for your own use in deciding what to buy and assembling what you bought. You may not copy our product descriptions or images for commercial use without written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Wrenfields's total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including damage to items stored in a product, loss of use, or costs of hiring assembly help, except where such limits are not allowed by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us first; almost every problem is fixed with a single email. If we cannot resolve it, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any lawsuit will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota, except that you may bring a claim in small claims court where you live. You may also have rights under your own state's consumer protection laws that these terms do not take away.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. The terms in effect when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
